Knights glad to be at home for round two

ALBANY, GA (WALB) -  The Deerfield-Windsor Knights are ready for round two of the GISA state playoffs.

They are also happy they get to stay at home.

The second seeded Knights will host Arlington Christian.

The 4th seeded Eagles upset region one champ Dominion Christian in the opening round.

Knights head coach Rod Murray is not surprised by the Arlington series win.

Murray says the Eagles have several good athletes on their team and finished 4th place in a very tough region.

Deerfield-Windsor will host Arlington Christian in a doubleheader starting at 3:00 p.m. on Friday.

Rod Murray said. "Coming out of the region with Tattnall, Stratford and Mount de Sales obviously that is a tough region. They will be weathered a good bit. They are a good team coming in here and we know that ."

The third game if played starts at 12:00 p.m. Saturday.
