ALBANY, GA (WALB) - Monroe guard Ashley Johnson calls Augusta a second home with family living in the area.
Augusta will be home for Johnson for the next four years.
The Tornadoes point guard signed to play at Augusta State.
Johnson was an all region player who was second on the team in scoring and led Monroe in rebounds this season.
Ashley is looking forward to playing to challenge of playing in the Peach Belt Conference.
Ashley Johnson said. 'You know I get to play at the next level. To play the sport I really love. Further my academics and go on and be successful."
Ashley has been a two-year starter at Monroe.
