Pelham's Thomas ends long drought

PELHAM, GA (WALB) - Pelham High guard D'Ambria Thomas is the first Hornet athlete to sign a scholarship in five years.

Thomas is headed to Fort Valley State to play for the Lady Wildcats program.

She is an all-state player and led the Lady Hornets to the region 1-A title this season.

D'Ambria Thomas said. "I think I am going to be a big help to them. I think we are going to win it again."

Thomas is the Lady Hornets all-time leading scorer with over 1800 points.
