ALBANY, GA (WALB) - Lee County outfielder Jessi Jones is the newest member of her family to attend ABAC.
Jones signing a scholarship to play for Donna Campbell's Fillies team.
Jones was second on the Lady Trojans in rbi's and struck out just five times in 80 at-bats.
Jessi is used to facing the best competition at Lee County and is ready for the challenge at the junior college level.
Jessi Jones said. "Moving from high school to the college level is a big difference. Because you have girls who are just as good as four year schools and DI schools."
Jessi Jones father graduated from ABAC and her uncle played baseball for the Stallions.
Her great-uncle played football at ABAC in the 1930's.
