    The officers and deputies were taught how to safely train their departments officers in the safe and effective use of Tasers. Once they have completed and passed the two day course, these officers will return and teach their fellow officers.

Luther Cleve Dean, known worldwide for his prowess as a world champion arm wrestler, died Tuesday at a hospital in Stockbridge, GA.

Cleve was a life long native of Pavo, and was known as a kind, gentle soul who was unbeatable in his sport.  Early reports indicate that he had a heart attack at age 58.

Dean's funeral will be at 11:00AM Saturday at Salem Baptist Church in Pavo, GA.

Family visitation takes place  Friday, 6-8 at Cobb Funeral Chapel in Moultrie.
