An Albany man tells police he had to run for his life from armed robbers who fired a shot at him downtown.

56-year-old Stephen Enos says three men, one armed with a pistol, ordered him to the ground in Turtle Park about one o'clock Monday morning.

Enos says when he refused, one of the robbers fired a shot at him.

Enos ran and escaped. He was not injured and nothing was taken.

If you have any information about this aggravated assault call CRIMESTOPPERS at 436-TIPS.
