FITZGERALD, GA (WALB) -
A retired Fitzgerald Firefighter was killed Thursday afternoon in a car crash just north of the city.
73-year old William Stepherson and his brother-in-law Samuel Stephens were coming home from Macon when Stepherson lost control on Highway 129.
His car overturned. Stepherson was killed. Stephens was airlifted to Phoebe Putney Hospital.
We're not sure the extent of his injuries.
