Albany Firefighters will teach children fire safety Saturday, and they want you to help kids recovering from burns.

The Children's Safety Education Day will be held at the Sam's Club Parking lot in Albany Saturday, with lots of activities designed to teach children fire prevention and safety lessons.

They'll also collect for the Georgia Firefighters Burn Foundation, which provides care for burned children.

"The funds that are raised go to medical facilities to improve their medial recovery. To improve their psychological recovery as well,"  said Inspector Daniel Harden.

The Children's Safety Education Day will be held from 10:30 until 4 at the Sam's Club Parking Lot in Albany.
