Members of the Georgia State Patrol Specialized Collision Reconstruction Team spent Tuesday mapping a fatal crash site along Highway 82 in Lee County.

The team reviewed the timing of the light as well as roadway conditions and the position of the vehicles in an effort to determine who was at fault. They also secured surveillance video from the Doublegate Ezee Mart's security cameras.

Seventeen year old Heather Aycock was ejected from the Ford Mustang when it collided with the oncoming tractor trailer at the intersection of Highway 82 and North Doublegate Drive. She died at the hospital. Twenty year old Auburn Deangilis was a passenger in the car and remains hospitalized.
