LEE COUNTY, GA (WALB) - The Georgia State Patrol has confirmed that two people involved in a Sunday afternoon crash in Lee County have died.

Witnesses say a semi-truck slammed into a Ford Mustang on U.S. 82 near North Doublegate Drive around 5:30 p.m.

At least one person in the Mustang, a pregnant woman, according to witnesses was ejected.

All three occupants in the car were rushed to the hospital with critical injuries.

State troopers did not return phone calls Sunday night and the victim's names have not been released.
