ALBANY, GA (WALB) - Albany State rode the arm of Ken Nesbitt to a 8-0 win over Tuskegee in the opening day of the SIAC baseball tournament.
Nesbitt gave up five hits in going the distance for the win.
Nesbitt's complete game helps the Rams pitching staff for the rest of the tournament.
Albany State will play Stillman on Friday at 1:00 p.m.
Stillman defeated Paine 18-4.
Benedict advanced with a 14-4 win over Kentucky State.
Benedict will play Claflin on Friday.
Claflin defeated Miles 10-8.
