    Five months after the mysterious murder of a Coffee County woman, people gathered Tuesday night in Douglas to remember her and to launch a community effort to make sure her case isn't forgotten. Friends
    People gather to bring attention to one of many unsolved murders of women in Coffee County.

Teresa Spooner, husband Eddie and their two grandchildren lived in the house that was built in 1978, and was recently remodeled.

They were on their way out of town, and  left the house before 7:00AM

The Decatur Co. Fire Dept. believes there was a lightning strike, and the house is a total loss. Part of the roof caved in and the rest may collapse due to water in the attic.

Fire fighters needed to wait 20 minutes for power company to turn off the electricity before the fire could be attacked.

All Decatur County volunteer fire stations responded as well as the County Fire Dept.
