We now have surveillance video from an armed robbery at a Ty Ty convenience store. The search is still on for a man who fired shots during a robbery at the Holiday Market.

Investigators hope someone comes forward with information to help catch him.

Security cameras were rolling as a gunman entered the Holiday Market off Highway 82 Friday morning. The man, dressed in black clothing, a baseball cap and a nylon mask, didn't waste anytime letting the store clerk know what he wanted.

With his gun pointed at the clerk, he told him to open the register and ordered him on the ground as he emptied the cash register. At the same time an unknowing customer walks into the store. As the robber went to leave, he pulled up his pants and his gun went off in the store.

Andres Talabera says when he drove past the store he knew exactly what happened. "It is the store that is always getting hit," he said.

He says his friend's father was inside the store during the robbery, and got hit by a piece of tile after the gun went off.

It's not the first time the store was robbed. In 2009, surveillance video shows a gunman entering the store with a rifle pointed at the clerk.

Locals say the Holiday Market is one of the most popular gas stations in the area..and it stays open later then most nearby. They hope something changes and the robberies stop soon before someone is injured..or even killed.

The owner tells me he plans to install a bullet proof window that would protect him. He also says he plans to put two employees on each shift instead of just one person.

If you have any information on this armed robbery call the Tift County Sheriff's Office. 229-388-6020
