ALBANY, GA (WALB) - A community leader wants to cut down on violence and encourage fellowship in his area of town.
Willie Ross spent months putting together an Easter neighborhood bash. People from the community were setting up and cooking for Sunday's event.
The fire department, Gang Task Force Unit, and police department were expected to come out. Musical acts are also scheduled to perform.
This is the third year Ross has organized the event. He's expecting several thousand people. Festivities will last until sunset.
