ALBANY, GA - A car crash at the corner of Newton Road and Lily Pond Road left a utility pole and a caution light damaged Friday, April 22 around 11 a.m. 

Police say Crystal Mitchell of Albany was driving a Toyota Corolla when she pulled out after running a stop sign.

Dennis Gilbert of Leesburg who was driving a Ford Ranger swerved to avoid her and hit a utility pole, knocking down a caution light.

Both drivers were checked by EMS, but neither went to hospital. The Department of Transportation repaired the caution light.
