Darton College students took a break Wednesday at the college's annual beach party. They gathered at the campus challenge course around lunchtime.
They enjoyed activities such as water slides, log rolling, and surfing simulators. Natalie Stovall's band played, and there was a lot to eat.
With exams coming up students told us they needed this break from the classroom.
"I ate a funnel cake. And I had free pizza. I'm not really that big into rides or anything like that, so I'm not going to be doing that," said sophomore Casey Griffin.
But lots of her friends had fun on those games enjoying a taste of the beach without having to travel.
