A single car wreck has left one person dead and two others injured. The Air Evacuation Team transported another person by helicopter to the hospital in Augusta.

According to State Troopers, a woman and a toddler, who were involved in the wreck were transported to Phoebe Putney Hospital.

The woman is said to be in critical condition but the toddler is okay. Police say the baby was in a car seat when the crash happened.

This happened just before one in the morning. There were four people and a baby inside the car.

According to police, they were headed North on 300 at very high speeds, lost control of the car, overcorrected, and overturned several times.

When that happened three people were ejected from the vehicle. We're not sure if the person died on impact or at the hospital. But corners have confirmed one person has died.

And another person with life threatening injuries was transported by helicopter to the Augusta Hospital.

State Troopers are not releasing names or ages, because they don't know who the people are. However the car involved in the wreck was registered in Pensacola, Florida.
