PELHAM, GA (WALB) - Authorities say they have arrested a man they believe held up Aden's Minit Market on Wednesday night. We heave learned that Robert George Sanders was arrested in Moultrie Thursday afternoon.
The armed robbery at Aden's Minit Market happened around 9:45 Wednesday night, when the robber pointed a gun in the terrified clerk's face, and took off with cash from her register.
He was wearing a jump suit and some kind of shower cap, possibly used to tuck in long hair.
"She said she had never seen him in there before that she realized but she did point out that he had some sort of a scar on his face or around his mouth area. She wasn't able to really tell because it happened so quick," said Investigator Rod Williams.
Thankfully the store clerk, 26-year-old Kenyatta Patridge was not hurt, just upset and shaken. Unfortunately though Pelham Police say Aden's Minit Market seems to be a target for crime and armed robberies.
