CORDELE, GA (WALB) - For the last two years, Crisp Academy has been the third wheel in region 3-A.Their state championship dreams though ended in the semifinals to region rivals Terrell Academy and Fullington the last two years.ollins said. "We came so close that we know it only takes a little bit more to make it this far again. We know we can pull through this time." Senior Ashley Athon said. "We want to win state. We have just got a lot of drive and ambition to go and win it all."
This year the Lady Wildcats believe it is their time to finally win the GISA Class A state basketball title.
With those teams now at AA, Crisp Academy is wanting to assume the throne as the top girls team in Class A.
They are two wins from that state title starting with Thursday's semifinal game with Oak Mountain.

Senior Brittany Brewer said. "We are nervous but we have the drive to win it all so."
Crisp Academy plays 1:00 p.m. on Thursday.
