ALBANY, GA (WALB) – The final defendant in a gang shootout at an Albany public pool is on his way to prison. Jerry Lee Harris was sentenced to 15 years in prison for the June 2009 shooting in the parking lot of Carver swimming pool that injured an innocent man.

Prosecutors say Harris and rival gang members started shooting after a fight between their girlfriends.

Tchywaskie Jones and Dabkowski Luke were convicted along with Harris last August. Harris's sentencing was delayed because his lawyer couldn't attend the original sentencing hearing.

Jarney Evans and Brandon Taylor pleaded guilty last year for their roles the crime.
