ALBANY, GA (WALB) - A Dougherty County man is out thousands of dollars after thieves targeted his property, making off with lawn equipment.

Ronald Lindsey says someone stole roughly $2,000 worth of lawn equipment from his shed at 1607 Gassiert Road off County Line Road.

He reported the theft Friday. A Dougherty County Police Report says someone stole a backpack blower, weedeater, edger, a craftsman grinder, generator just to name a few.

The victim says this is the third time someone has broken into the shed and the eleventh time he's been burglarized since he built his home in 1993.

Lindsay says he's thinking of either installing extra security around his home or moving to avoid another incident.
