ALBANY, GA (WALB) -  Deerfield-Windsor's season came to an end on Saturday as the Knights were unable to overcome #1 Mt.Vernon Presbyterian.  51-44 was in the final in Americus.  Deerfield shot 10-26 from the free throw line which ultimately ended up being the difference in the game.  The Knights had hoped to make it back to back state titles after winning it all last season.

The team will bring back 4 out of 5 starters from this year's team.
