DOUGHERTY COUNTY, GA (WALB) -  A man arrested in Lee County last year for trying to arrange sex with an underage girl is back in jail.

Dougherty County Police arrested him after finding hundreds of images of child pornography on his computer.

39-year old Sean Petroff was arrested by Dougherty County Police six months after his previous arrest.

Dougherty County Police arrested Shawn Thomas Petroff Wednesday morning at this home in the 4222 Hardaway Road.

Petroff was arrested in Lee County back in August after investigators say he went to a gas station expecting to meet a 13-year old girl for sex.

After that incident Dougherty County police seized his computer and found 282 illegal pictures on it.

"We sent his computer off to the GBI crime lab to check for child pornography the results just came in he had 282 images of actual images of child pornography and 1,942 images of child erotica," said Det. Chad Kirkpatrick, Dougherty County Police Dept.

In August Lee County magistrate judge ordered an electronic monitor be removed from Petroff over the objection of law enforcers.

Last year he was released on $50,000 bond, Petroff faces 282 felony counts of sexual exploitation.

Police need a separate warrant for each picture. So far, he's charged with 15 counts child exploitation; which are seprate from the Lee County Charges.

Police expect prosecutors to indict him on those charges and the other 267 counts.
