Now they are ready to take the knowledge from all of those tracks and build the ultimate racing facility in Americus.

Star Racing is planning to build a mile long drag strip and two point five mile road course on 450 acres next to South Georgia Tech.

An internationally known motorcycle racing instructor, Bryce says the complex is not just about racing motorcycles.

He says the road course and drag strip will attract the top teams in racing, including NASCAR, for testing.

Their experience will have them coming back for testing and racing.

George Bryce said. "We believe if we build the fastest race track and we go and find the professional teams. The really big shot guys that race. Have them come out here and test. The evolution will draw bigger events here eventually."

Bryce hopes construction can begin later this year.

He says the purchase of the land and some financing issues still have to be finalized before construction can start.
