Lady Rams fall at Benedict

COLUMBIA, SC (WALB) -  Albany State fans were pointing to their big game with Fort Valley State last weekend, Lady Rams head coach Robert Skinner was thinking about the game after the Lady Wildcats with Benedict.

The concern was well-founded.

After beating Fort Valley to take sole possession of first in the SIAC women's standings, the Lady Rams lose 69-59 at Benedict.

Albany State is 14-5 and is now in a four way tie for first in the SIAC standings.

Benedict won the men's game 63-48 over Albany State.

Albany State basketball teams are on the road Thursday at Paine College.
