ALBANY, GA (WALB) -   Dougherty County School Superintendent Joshua Murfree will meet with the community to talk abut the challenges the school system faces.

Murfree will host a Community forum Tuesday night. It's open to everyone, even if you don't have students in the school system.

Murfree hopes to discuss his goals for the future along with other issues including the CRCT investigation.

"The superintendent plans to address things like his initiatives, like the Career Academy, other areas would be technology in classrooms, changing curriculum, specific interest right now, the state is looking at math curriculums for high schools, the state is looking at end of course requirements for high school graduates," said Public Information Director R. D. Harter.

Murfree hopes the forum will also help get the community more involved with the school system. The forum starts at 7:00 at the Albany High School Auditorium.
