Police bust largest drug operation in department's history

RICHLAND, GA (WALB) - Richland Police have made one of the biggest drug busts in the department's history.

You're looking at pictures of crack cocaine with a street value of $1,000 along with $5000 .The drugs and cash were seized from a home at 59 Hudson Street Sunday morning.

They also seized seven cars and a motorcycle, along with electronics in including a television and computer. They've arrested 55-year-old Gregory Reynolds and 22-year-old Takesha Garrett.

Both are charged with possession with intent to distribute. Dawson and Lumpkin Police along with Lee County narcotics officers assisted in the investigation.

The GBI has been called in to assist.
