ALBANY, GA (WALB) - Saturday some volunteers were on a mission to give back to their community.
Mission Change hosted their monthly mission project at the Albany Rescue Mission.
Volunteers help to sort clothes at the thrift store before heading to the mission kitchen and providing lunch for men and women who need it.
"We see there are areas of Albany and the world that need change but we can start in our back yard," said Jon Miller, Mission Change.
The group also ministered to the people who showed up at the mission Saturday. Click here to find out how to volunteer for the Mission project in March.
