ALBANY, GA (WALB) - For once, Georgia Southwestern was beaten in the second half.
Armstrong Atlantic survives a drought in the middle of the second half and beats the Hurricanes 86-80.
Pirates won this game at the foul line where they made 34 of 41 shots.
GSW was 21-28 from the charity stripe but had three players foul out and two others finish the game with four fouls.
Phillip Brown and Colin Slotter both scored 15 points to lead the Canes(16-5, 9-3) in scoring.
The GSW women did win their game 71-47 over Armstrong Atlantic.
The GSW basketball teams head to St. Augustine, Florida to play Flagler on Saturday.
