ALBANY, GA (WALB) -Albany Police are searching for a gunman, who shot an East Albany man twice on his front door step.

37 year old Alvin Davis said just after midnight in front of his home on Crawford Drive, a man with a hood covering his head and face opened fire at him.

Davis was shot in the left arm and the buttocks as he ran. He was treated for at an Albany hospital and released.

The only description Davis could provide was that the gunman was short. If you have any information about this shooting, call CRIME STOPPERS at 436-TIPS.
