ALBANY, GA (WALB) -  An Albany woman has led a local fight against childhood obesity for six years.

Pamela Jackson founded Youth Becoming Healthy.

They go into schools and work with students on how to make healthy choices. She says the first lady's push is drawing attention to a national epidemic.

Jackson started YBH after her brother died of obesity-related illness.
