Lady Rams swept in season opener

ALBANY, GA (WALB) -  The bad news for the Albany State softball team is the Lady Rams were swept by a combined score 34-0 in a season opening doubleheader against West Georgia.

The good news for the Lady Rams is they have plenty of games left on the schedule and will certainly improve.

West Georgia won game one 12-0 and the Wolves took game two 22-0.

Albany State faces a tougher opponent on Friday when the host #1 ranked Valdosta State at 1:00 p.m. at Lady Rams Park.
