Illegals arrested in Tift County - WALB.com, Albany News, Weather, Sports

The U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement Team (ICE) says 6 illegal immigrants were arrested in Tift County Tuesday during a round up.

Originally the Tifton Police Department told us 36 were arrested, but the ICE team is not confirming that information.

The Sheriff's office says the 6 people were held in a Tift County detention cell for a short period of time, then taken away by ICE. 

ICE is not releasing anymore information at this time.
