NASHVILLE, GA (WALB) -A south Georgia murder suspect jailed in Florida is expected to be extradited next week.

Berrien County Sheriff Anthony Heath tells us as soon as Florida's Governor signs off on a warrant. 37-year-old John Woods will be brought back to Berrien County.

Woods spent nearly three weeks on the run after removing an ankle monitor.

He was under house arrest awaiting trial for the 2009 murder of Travis Sauls.

He was caught last month at a bus station in Perry, Florida.
