ALBANY, GA (WALB) - An East Dougherty County woman got quite a shock just after midnight.

She found five young gang members in her daughter's bedroom. Apparently preparing to initiate her into their gang by having sex with her.

Investigators say the 14-year-old girl invited the 14 to 16-year-old boys to her room to "sex her into the gang."

Police are investigating and warn parents to be on the lookout.

"I'd advise all parents to be aware that this kind of thing does happen, and that kids do get involved in it, and this mother was vigilant enough to stop it," said Capt. Jimmy Sexton, of the Dougherty County Police.

The five boys left the home before officers arrived.

Investigators are looking for them.

They could be charged with street gang terrorism.
