BERRIEN COUNTY, GA (WALB) -  A Douglas man reported missing last Tuesday was found in jail.

67-year old Bill McGauley's family was worried about him and reported him missing.

Coffee County authorities issued a lookout for his car.

Turns out he was arrested by Enigma Police around 4:30 last Tuesday afternoon on Highway 82 near Ferris Road.

He's charged with DUI, failure to maintain lane, and for having the prescription painkiller hydrocodone not in its original container.

"Officer Purvis looked on WALB on the web site and actually saw the picture of the man we had arrested," said Enigma Chief Arel Valdez. "Y'all had put him on there as missing and (we) contacted 9-1-1 and his wife and let them know he was not missing he was actually in jail."

Bill McGauley's wife bonded him out of the Berrien County Jail Monday.
