ALBANY, GA (WALB) -
The Dougherty District Attorney says he is considering seeking death penalty charges in the murder of a young convenience store clerk.

19 year old Santarious Nelson was arrested Thursday night at his home in Newton, and charged with murder and armed robbery.

Investigators say Nelson and 16 year old Anthony Hill are these two masked robbers, who shot and killed 19-year old Sentos Vicente,  a clerk at a Radium Springs Road store, during a robbery in December.

Edwards said he has not made any decision, but has to consider the death penalty.

"Certainly the aggravating circumstances of an additional capital felony, an armed robbery, are present. So that will be a factor that will go into that evaluation, "said Edwards.

Edwards says the investigation into the robbery murder is still continuing.
