ALBANY, GA (WALB) - Basketball at the Civic Center continues Tuesday as Dougherty hosts Americus and Monroe will battle it out with Westover for the 2nd time this season.

The Lady Patriots beat the Lady Tornadoes by 20 points a few weeks ago at the Civic Center.  They'll be looking for their 21st win of the season and to stay in first place in the region.

The top seed in the girl's bracket will host the final two rounds of the region 1-AAA tournament.
The number one seed will likely come down to Westover's game with Americus-Sumter Friday.
The Lady Patriots though are not overlooking their cross-town rival Tuesday night.

Dytiesha Dunson (Westover guard) said "With Monroe the same thing happened last year, we had a better record than them. We were considered the better team but they ended up beating us. When the game is hyped up and the emotions are flowing who knows what can happen. If we just stay focused we should win."

Cessiley Colwell (Westover guard) said "We're pretty cool with all of them. We hang together when we go to games. So there are friend off the court but on the court its time to take care of business."
