ALBANY, GA (WALB) -  In about half an hour, Albany's city manager is expected to announce a plan to re-organize how the Civic Center is managed.

Rather than being a standalone department, it will now fall under the Recreation Department which is managed by Suzanne Davis.

Al Lott will speak with reporters at 4:30 at the Government Center.  We will have a crew there.

In an interview with WALB earlier today, Albany Mayor Willie Adams suggested the change.

He said, "Mrs. Suzanne Davis is a great person and I think we're going to probably have to take a look at whether we want to take that route or not and just let the recreation department run it and have Mrs. Davis, give her another responsibility."
