ALBANY, GA (WALB) - A man is in Phoebe Putney hospital with serious injuries after a bar fight early Saturday Morning.

His wife said her husband did nothing to provoke the situation, and police are still trying to figure out exactly what happened at the Ozone Longue on Cordele Road.

The police repot confirms Bernard Robinson was knocked unconscious suffering an inch long gash to nose, and was bleeding from mouth and ears.

His wife was too upset over the incident show her face.

"He's been to the bar a couple of times and a couple of patrons have use verbal slang language wanting to know what your color doing in here. I just wanted to say if there's anyone out there, I know someone saw it, the bar was full of 200 people and no one saw anything. If you have compassion you would come forward," said Victim's Wife.

Phoebe tells us Bernard Robinson is in Fair condition today and should be released in the coming days.
