ALBANY, GA (WALB) - Members of Kappa Alpha Psi organized a bowling event to raise scholarship money for Albany State University.

Saturday was the 6th annual Kappa O'Neal Bowl-A-Thon, in honor of ASU's Coach O'Neal.

Other fraternities, sororities, and the community were invited to bowl three games for $25 at Bowl-A-Rama.

"Our fraternity and actually our chapter has the Kappa's Bolo-A-Thon in honor of one of our bothers Obie O'Neal. We have a lot of students and adults that participate throughout the community to raise funds for a scholarship that we present to Albany State University," said Keith Hose, Albany Alumni Chapter Kappa Alpha Psi.

All the students who participated got trophies.

This year they hope to raise $5,000 for the ASU Scholarship Fund.
