ALBANY, GA (WALB) -   Congressman Sanford Bishop took tough questions from Marines and their family members during a town hall meeting at the Albany Marine Base Friday.

It was standing room only as Congressman Bishop took questions on quality of life issues for military families.

Bishop is the ranking member of the House Appropriations Committee's Sub-committee on Military Construction and Veterans Affairs.

He said Marine families face many tough issues. "As a result of deployment, you've got PTSD. You've got traumatic brain injuries. You've got family violence. That comes when families of service members suffer from PTSD," Bishop said.

Bishop says he'll hold a similar town hall meeting at Fort Benning and share the information and concerns with other legislators.
