ALBANY, GA (WALB) - Deerfield-Windsor swim coach Lorraine Withers is very blunt about the GISA state swim meet this week.Withers says the Knights were happy with the three points they scored in their first season.
Lorraine Withers said. "It is very exciting but it is also very nerve wracking. Our kids are very excited about this Saturday. There is a lot on the line. Deerfield has not had a swim championship team. We have a chance to make school history."
The GISA state swim meet is Saturday in Atlanta.

Withers says her team has a lot on the line in going for their first state team title.
Six years later, Deerfield-Windsor is one of the top contenders for the state tile.
The Knights swim team has won every meet this season.
They are led by Taylor Withers who won two individual titles at last year's state meet and is wanting to win three more this year.
Withers says the entire squad is looking forward to complete Deerfield-Windsor's swim to the top.
