CAMILLA, GA (WALB) - The scholarships are signed but the celebrations continue for area high school football players.On the day after national signing day, Mitchell County holding a signing ceremony for Eagle receivers Justin Scott-Wesley and Jesse Atkins.Justin Scott-Wesley said. The ceremony moved back a day so that family members could attend.
Wesley is part of Georgia's dream recruiting class.
Atkins is ready to join the Albany State Rams.
Wesley is excited to be part of a such a star studded class at Georgia.
Jesse Atkins said. "It feels pretty good to be part of a DII program. I can come in and be a big part of their program and help them to continue to have winning seasons."
Mitchell County won the 1-A title last year.
