ALBANY, GA (WALB) - A 6-year-old Mitchell County boy has been released from a Macon hospital after being mauled by a neighbor's dog nearly a week ago.
Investigators say no charges will be filed against the dog's owner.
They say Dylan Spinks' fell off a tool box, and the dog attacked. Because the dog was properly chained and just reacted to the situation, investigators will not charge the owner Keith Pate.
The dog is expected to be put down once the 10 day quarantine expires.
A seven-year old neighbor pulled the dog off Dylan, perhaps saving his life.
