ALBANY, GA (WALB) – A former downtown Albany store owner who pleaded guilty to theft by conversion in the Don Buie scandal remains behind on his payments to the inner city authority.
ADICA officials said former Downtown Dollar Square owner Tim Washington hasn't made a payment in 7 months.
Part of his probation requires him to make monthly payments of $500 to payoff a $40,000 grant he received from the former downtown manager.
The board plans to contact his probation officer.
