ALBANY, GA (WALB) – A Cordele man is in jail charging with shooting and wounding a woman. 29-year-old Jemarcus Harris was arrested after he wrecked a truck in Vienna.
Police say he shot Latoria Brown Thursday night at a home on 22nd Avenue West in Cordele.
She was found lying near the street.
That same night, troopers were called to a truck crash on I-75 near Vienna. Harris was involved.
Harris is charged with two counts of aggravated assault, and use of a firearm in commission of a crime and discharging a firearm near a roadway.
