ALBANY, GA (WALB) – A young Leesburg woman is waiting for a call for her third lung transplant.

Saturday hundreds of south Georgia bikers came together to help her family get over this next hurdle.

20-year-old Victoria Doolittle has Primary Pulmonary Hypertension which is abnormally high blood pressure in the arteries of the lungs.

Doolittle had a transplant in 2002, and another last year, complications from that transplant has her on the list for another transplant.

Today the independent Harley riders and other bike clubs started a poker run at the Softail Saloon to help the family.

"A friend of mine at express lane knew the family and she asked them why didn't they ask for help, he told her he didn't know who to ask she came to me and here we are," said Gloria Sullivan, Independent Harley Riders.

Bikers paid $10 to participate, they hope to raise $5,000.

Doolittle's surgery will happen at Duke Hospital in Durham North Carolina, the money will help keep her there for three months.
