THOMASVILLE, GA (WALB) - Georgia's dream team recruiting class added another coveted member when Thomas County Central defensive end Ray Drew committed to the Bulldogs Friday morning at the school.
Drew picked Georgia over Auburn, LSU, Clemson and Miami.
The five-star defensive end also brought in two former Bulldog greats Randall Godfrey and David Pollack for his announcement.
Ray Drew admitted during his announcement he decided on Georgia several weeks ago but has had some fun sending out mixed messages on the social media in attempt to keep everyone guessing on what his choice would be.
Ray Drew is the fourth player from south Georgia to commit to Georgia in the last week.
Valdosta High teammates Jay Rome and Malcolm Mitchell pledged to sign with the Bulldogs last Thursday and Colquitt County offensive tackle Xzavier Ward committed on Monday.
National signing day is February 2nd.
Georgia is still in the running for several other top players including Carver-Columbus running back Isaiah Crowell.
Drew let it be known he will do what he can to convince those players to become his teammate in Athens.
