ALBANY,  GA (WALB) –  Albany police are investigating a home invasion in East Albany where two women were cut.

It happened around 5:30AM at 1401 Owens Avenue. The victims were 35-year-old Latasha Johnson and 33-year-old Earnestine Haggins. We tried to talk to them on camera, but they feared for their safety.

They did tell us the intruder kicked in the window on the door. Once inside, he demanded money and keys to the car.

When they refused, he grabbed a knife from their kitchen, and after a struggle cut the two sisters. The women are OK.

The suspect is a bald man about five-eight in his mid 30's.

If you have any information, call Albany Police.
